Risk Management Online Certificate Program (2026)

Description

Risk Management is a form of planning and decision-making dealing with uncertain events as well as controlling risks before they become a problem. While insurance is commonly associated with risk management, it is not possible or practical to insure against every situation; hence, risk management provides additional strategies for dealing with loss.

Through three live virtual sessions, participants will be able to engage in instructor-led lessons, question and answer sessions, and have access to a knowledgeable expert. Upon conclusion of the three-part course, participants will gain access to the Risk Management Certificate program exam, a 50-question multiple-choice test that can be taken anytime, anywhere (system requirements apply). Those who successfully pass the exam (one year from date of purchase) will be awarded a professional certificate.

This course will cover the discipline’s competencies including
  • Fundamentals of Risk Management
  • Insurance
  • Fleet Safety Policies
  • Fleet Safety Programs
  • Crash Management
Course inclusions: NAFA’s Risk Management e-Guidebook, Risk Management Study Guide, (3) 2-hour live sessions, (1) Online Risk Management Certificate exam, and a Professional Certificate – upon successful passing of exam (optional)
